‘Delusion’ interactive horror theater is back in Los Angeles with ‘Reaper’s Remorse’

“Delusion,” the popular Los Angeles interactive Halloween attraction from Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group — the world’s largest producer of theme park-quality haunted houses and immersive live-entertainment events — and celebrated horror master Jon Braver is returning on Sept. 16, 2021, with “Reaper’s Remorse.”

For seven seasons, “Delusion” has captivated sold-out audiences by thrusting them into an adventure where they must play their parts to move the story forward. With live actors, creature effects, stunts, elaborate set design, and an original score, “Delusion” weaves together a tale unlike any other.

Delusion - Phillips Mansion

This year, the site-specific, intimate, interactive play invites guests to move through the venue and “play a part” as the haunting narrative unfolds in a fully realized, live, otherworldly adventure inside the dilapidated Phillips Mansion in Pomona, Calif.

“With theater lovers ready for live entertainment, Delusion’s return couldn’t come at a better time,” said “Delusion” creator Jon Braver, a film and theater director, action coordinator, and Walt Disney Imagineering consultant. “We are crazy excited to return to our Delusion horror roots and to deliver an all-new, original play in what I would say is the very best Delusion venue yet!”

Delusion - Open World

Adding even more excitement to the experience this year is the first-ever “Open World” accompaniment. Similar to an eerie scavenger hunt, the experience is available before or after the main attraction and allows guests to continue the already twisted tale by exploring multiple narrative threads in a whole new adjacent event area that continues the immersive experience, featuring food, drinks, and more.

Delusion - Her Private Collection

“Delusion” 2021 also includes the debut of “Her Private Collection: VIP Experience,” a special ticket upgrade that provides guests with an opportunity to uncover exclusive story threads as they continue their mansion visit in a secluded second floor of terror filled with the family’s private collection of artifacts.

As part of the VIP second floor experience, the private “Dark Arts Bar & Lounge” offers even more fun with entertainment — and perhaps a chance encounter with the mansion’s strange, magical, and eccentric resident. This highly-encouraged upgrade also includes a “Reaper’s Remorse” limited poster signed by Jon Braver.

Tickets for the highly anticipated event attraction start at $89.99 and go on sale to the public on July 15, 2021, at 11 a.m. PDT. In addition, a special 24-hour exclusive pre-sale opportunity will be offered on July 14 at 11 a.m. PDT for fans who register in advance on the event’s website.

Dates and quantities are limited to ensure the attraction delivers the experience that keeps Halloween-lovers coming back year after year, so fans are encouraged to act quickly as past years have sold out quickly.
