Disaster! Strikes at Universal Orlando

Disaster! A Major Motion Picture Ride…Starring You is coming soon to Universal Studios Orlando replacing the former Earthquake attraction with new pre-shows and an enhanced ride experience. Little is known at this point about exactly what Universal is doing to update the attraction other than removing the direct references to the classic disaster film, Earthquake.

Gone will be the days of watching Charlton Heston introduce youngsters to an attraction based on a film they’ve never seen. Now, guests will be stars of the new disaster film, still in the making, alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and another yet-unnamed big Hollywood star.

  1. Um… whoever made that trailer… I want their B-roll. Back to the Future movie and ride footage, with dynamite spectacular and other attractions with older footage back when they did a lot of filming at uni Orlando…

    Please tell me they are not hyping a similar concept earthquake was…
