Disney views from Blizzard Beach

Yesterday was the last open day for Blizzard Beach before its annual refurbishment. Typhoon Lagoon is back open today. Blizzard Beach opens again on March 9.

So my son and I went while we could. It was barely 70 degrees, so I just went to take pictures. My son braved the cold waters and had some fun in the wave pool. I was surprised how many (shivering) people were there.

The views from the top of Mt. Gushmore are spectacular. They are views not often seen online. I suppose it’s because not many people take their nice digital cameras to the water parks. From the front of the man-made mountain is the view you see above (Epcot and Hollywood Studios). From the back you can see a cool view of the back of Expedition Everest. You can also barely see Cinderella’s castle sticking up (even with a zoom lens.).
