Disney Adventure cruise ship sails from Singapore in 2025

Disney Cruise Line President Thomas Mazloum announced the name of the Singapore-bound vessel at the Destination D23 Event in Walt Disney World. Coming off the reveal of the adventure-themed Disney Treasure (Disney’s 6th ship), the Disney Adventure will take families on a fantastical voyage across a sea of Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories, venturing into realms representing every corner of the Disney world – and beyond.

The Journey Aboard the Disney Adventure

Families will experience fantasy, discovery, and adventure themed spaces throughout the Disney Adventure, and, typical of all Disney Cruises, guests can enjoy Disney entertainment, signature dining, and guest service.

Disney Cruise Line Setting Sail in Southeast Asia

The Marina Bay area of Singapore is a world-class tourist destination with its iconic Marina Bay Sands casino, lotus-shaped ArtScience Museum, one of the world’s largest observation wheels – the Singapore Flyer, close access to over 40 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Universal Studios Singapore, and more. The addition of the Disney Adventure, homeporting for at least five years beginning in 2025, will bring even more families to this vibrant destination.

More About the Disney Adventure

Construction of the 208,000-gross-ton ship is projected to be completed at the MV Werften shipyard in Wismar, Germany, under the management of Meyer Werft. In late 2022, Disney Cruise Line acquired the Global Dream. The under-construction Global Dream was set to be the largest cruise ship by passenger volume when Hong Kong’s Dream Cruises filed for bankruptcy.
