Disney and Pixar heroines team up in new Ravensburger game
Ravensburger is assembling heroines from across Disney and Pixar stories to join forces for Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls (Disney Edition).
Combining role-playing, storytelling, and cooperation, Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls (Disney Edition)is an immersive adventure game that allows players to work together and “vanquish a sinister darkness threatening the world.”
As we’ve seen time and time again with games like Disney Villainous and Disney Lorcana TCG, bringing Disney heroes and villains into one shared universe reignites powerful nostalgia and provides a platform to bring friends and families together in an immersive and highly creative experience,” said Lysa Penrose, Head of New Games Marketing at Ravensburger North America. “We know how imaginations ignite when you bring Disney storytelling to life in board games, and we can’t wait for you to see what happens when Disney Princess characters and other Disney heroines join forces and take center stage.
In Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls (Disney Edition), players form alliances of Disney and Pixar heroines, including Moana, Violet from “The Incredibles,” Maid Marian from “Robin Hood,” and Belle from Beauty and the Beast,” to defeat Disney Villains and restore the Realm of Light. Fully designed and illustrated by women, the game generates new adventures every time it’s played (recommended for up to four players ages eight and up).
Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls (Disney Edition)will be available for pre-order on July 7, 2024, at Target.com and for purchase nationwide on July 21, 2024. More gameplay details and illustrations will be unveiled throughout the year.
