Disney+ celebrates two-year anniversary with pop-up balloons in select major cities
To celebrate the first-ever Disney+ Day tomorrow, Nov. 12, the streaming service is making its way to select cities for an interactive pop-up installation featuring inflatable balloons.
The Disney+ Day Inflatable Balloon Tour began on Nov. 8 at the Meatpacking District in New York City, followed by Nashville’s Walk of Fame Park on Nov. 10, and closing out with Los Angeles’ Santa Monica Pier on Nov. 12.
Balloons featured in the pop-up include iconic Disney brands and characters, like Olaf from “Frozen,” Maggie Simpson from “The Simpsons,” and Boba Fett’s helmet to celebrate the upcoming series, “The Book of Boba Fett.” The Disney+ arch, Captain America’s shield, Pixar’s Luxo Ball, and the National Geographic icon are also featured.
The Pop-Up Balloons will arrive in Los Angeles’ Santa Monica Pier and be on display from 12-8 p.m. PT.
