See 800 Drones for Free at Disney Springs

800 drones fly through the air during the 10-minute show, which Walt Disney World Resort visitors can enjoy for a limited time this summer. Since Disney Springs doesn’t charge admission, “Disney Dreams That Soar” is a great choice for guests looking for free things to do at Disney World.

Celebrate the joy of flight! Imagine hundreds of state-of-the-art drones “dancing” across the sky, choreographed to a soaring musical score of iconic Disney music and memorable dialogue from beloved Disney movies. Watch them fly in a constant state of transformation — designing towering elements that are 400 feet tall and creating images of some of your favorite Disney characters from “Toy Story,” “Coco,” “Dumbo,” “Peter Pan,” “Up,” the “Star Wars” saga, and more!

In Our Drone Era

“Disney Dreams That Soar” is only the second nighttime drone production in Disney World’s history, following “Starbright Holidays,” which performed at Disney Springs for less than two months in 2016 and never returned.

Disney has not announced plans for any further drone projects in the future.

Elsewhere in Orlando, Universal Studios Florida will debut “CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular” on June 14, 2024. That show will combine drones, fireworks, and fountains. Unlike Disney’s new show, Universal’s production is not a limited run; it will continue performing indefinitely.

At Disneyland Paris, guests can currently see “Electrical Sky Parade,” a drone-centric tribute to “Main Street Electrical Parade,” which will run until Jan. 6, 2025.
