Disney finally sells the iconic ‘Hercules’ travel mug, Herculade

The “Hercules” film: iconic. The characters: incredibly memorable. The songs: top quality. But, what have we been missing from this film for years? That’s right, the Hercules travel mug. And now, this piece of movie memorabilia can be yours for $22.99, (before tax and shipping).

For a limited time, McDonald’s patrons could get a plastic cup remake. But that was in the ‘90s, and we have been waiting eagerly for its return ever since. Ticket sales, streaming rights, and ad placement do make movie studios money. But “Spaceballs” said it best: Merchandising. Where the real money from the movie is made. Epcot’s new nighttime spectacular, Harmonious, features “Go The Distance,” perhaps the most recognizable song from the “Hercules” film.
