Disney+ Hallowstream drive-in bringing tricks and treats to Los Angeles

Disney+ is kicking off the spooky season in Disney style with its Hallowstream Drive-In screening series from Oct. 7-13, 2021, at West Los Angeles College in Culver City, Calif.

During the free drive-in series, Disney+ will premiere the Disney+ Original Special “Muppets Haunted Mansion” as well as invite L.A.-area fans to “be their ghost” for public screenings of the new Disney+ Original Special “Lego Star Wars Terrifying Tales,” the new Disney+ Original Series “Just Beyond,” and Halloween classics like “Hocus Pocus,” “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Halloweentown,” The Simpsons “Treehouse of Horror,” and, for Marvel fans, WandaVision’s “All-New Halloween Spooktacular!” and “What If...? Zombies.”

The weeklong Hallowstream event will kick off with the invite-only world premiere of “Muppets Haunted Mansion” (before it starts streaming on Oct. 8, 2021), followed by six days of special screenings, including the advanced screening of “Just Beyond,” which will debut Oct. 13 on Disney+. Plus, each night of the drive-in will get started with a classic-themed episode or short on the big screen.

On Oct. 9, 2021, “Huluween” will take over the Disney+ Hallowstream Drive-In with a late-night adults-only screening, which will be announced on Oct. 4 (registration begins Oct. 5, 2021).

Disney+ Hallowstream Drive-In will enforce the following safety guidelines:

• Guests must remain in their vehicles for the duration of the program.
• No sitting outside vehicles will be allowed.
• Congregating of any type is prohibited.
• Social distancing of at least six feet will be enforced at all times.
• Face coverings must be worn when interacting with attendants and when exiting vehicles to visit the restrooms.
