Disney announces new kids ticket offers for Disneyland and Walt Disney World
Disney has announced new kids ticket offers and special experiences to give Disney fans coast to coast even more reasons to visit Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts for the rest of 2023 and into 2024.
We can all agree Disney theme parks are the happiest (and most magical) places on Earth, but new kids offers and special experiences will make visits to Disneyland and Walt Disney World better than ever.
New at the Disneyland Resort
New Kids Ticket Offer
Beginning Oct. 24, 2023, guests can purchase a child’s ticket (valid only for ages 3-9) for as low as $50 per child per day. The special kids’ ticket offer is on one-, two-, or three-day park tickets with upgrades like Park Hopper or Disney Genie+ service available as add-ons.
The limited-time child tickets can be used between Jan. 8 and March 10, 2024 (no blockout dates, subject to park reservation availability).
Extended Reservation Calendar
Starting this month, guests who purchase (or who are already holding) theme park tickets can view the Disneyland Resort reservation calendar and book visits for dates up to 180 days in advance.
The extended calendar is intended to help guests with planning and allow them to take advantage of lower-priced ticket options on less popular dates.
New Genie+ Attractions
Starting in November, two family-friendly attractions will be added to Disneyland’s Genie+ service: Disneyland Park’s newest attraction, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure in California Adventure Park.
Magic Key Extras Unlocked
Magic Key holders can access the new Magic Key Extras Unlocked section on Disneyland.com or the Magic Key portal on the Disneyland app to discover “extras” that are part of Disneyland’s annual pass program.
Upcoming extras include a preview of a festive Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot and complimentary holiday tote bag in November (while supplies last), and a new Magic Key popcorn bucket (with $1.75 refills for a limited time) available for purchase in January (while supplies last).
Kids Play & Dine Package at Walt Disney World
On Nov. 14, 2023, Walt Disney World will introduce a new kids offer for families. The vacation package features 50% off theme park tickets and dining plans for kids ages 3-9 with the purchase of a non-discounted four-night, four-day travel package that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel, theme park tickets, and a dining plan.
The Kids Play & Dine Package is valid for stays most nights from March 3 through June 30, 2024. Visit DisneyWorld.com/SpecialOffers for details.

Sounds like Disney may be feeling a bit more competition in Orlando from Universal. I would like to see the kids discount ticket age upped to 14 as that would help more families make the visit affordable.
