Disney Parks say thank you to medical workers on World Health Day
To celebrate World Health Day, the Disney Parks around the world are saying thank you to medical professionals in their own special ways.
The celebration began at Shanghai Disney Resort, where the Enchanted Storybook Castle was lit up with the words “thank you” in multiple languages for all the nurses, doctors, and healthcare workers dedicated to keeping us healthy.
Representing Hong Kong Disneyland and its cast members, Disney Ambassador Melody shared a message of appreciation as well.
Tokyo Disney Resort shared multiple images from both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea via gif, along with a message of thanks to healthcare workers.
At Disneyland Paris, a floral arrangement spells out “Merci” right in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World was illuminated in blue as Security cast members shared their own words of thanks, as seen in the photo above.
Dr. Mark Penning, vice president of Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment team at Disney’s Animal Kingdom shared a special mesage from his entire team of animal caregivers, scientists and environmental specialists.
