Animal lovers already know that Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the place to learn more about creatures large and small from around the world. Now, they can virtually visit those amazing animals right from their smartphones through the all-new, short-form video mini-series “Disney Parks Wild Sights” that debuted exclusively on Sept. 17, 2020, in the My Disney Experience app.

Featuring the animals and the dedicated cast members who care for them, “Disney Parks Wild Sights” takes Disney and animal fans on up-close and personal visits with the diverse wildlife that calls Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park home. Each episode will introduce a different animal and explain what makes them unique. Plus, the series will also reveal the bonds the animals have formed with the dedicated animal keepers who take care of them.

Disney is always looking for new and creative ways to engage guests and share the magic, from using technology like the My Disney Experience or Disneyland mobile apps to make visiting the parks more manageable and fun to adding unique experiences that guests can enjoy at home. That’s why it’s no surprise that “Disney Parks Wild Sights” isn’t the only new series that recently debuted in the My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps.

Disney Parks, Wild Sights, Destination Disney, Designing Disney Parks, Disney Parks Throwback, Disney Date Night

Through “Destination Disney,” guests can travel to Disney parks and resorts worldwide and discover what makes each of them culturally distinct, yet still magically familiar, starting with a trip to Shanghai Disneyland. “Designing Disney Parks” will share little-known stories about design history and inspiration from Disney legends, like Mary Blair who created many of the design elements for “it’s a small world.” With just a tap on Disney Parks Throwback,” fans will travel back in time through Disney Parks’ history and trivia. Plus, “Celebrate with Disney Parks” features highlights from holidays and other special dates, and “Disney Date Night” offers inspiration to make date nights or family time at home just a little more magical.

To check out “Disney Parks Wild Sights” and the other new series available in the My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps, all you have to do is download the apps from the App Store or Google Play.
