Inside the new Disney Vacation Club center at Disney Springs
A new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) center is now open at Disney Springs, featuring refreshments, sofas, and balcony views. The spot shares a building with DVC’s model rooms.

Disney World’s first Disney Vacation Club ‘Welcome Home Center’
The second floor of Gateway to Discovery – A Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center opened July 15, 2024 at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World. The upstairs area is officially called a “gathering space” rather than a lounge, and can be accessed to relax any time by DVC members. Non-members can enjoy the space’s amenities during scheduled Open House appointments to learn about DVC.
The first floor of Gateway to Discovery (which has been open for several months now) is an information center for prospective DVC members.
Gateway to Discovery is the first Welcome Home Center to open at Disney World. Another exists at Disney California Adventure (inside Golden Vine House).
New Disney Vacation Club gathering space at Disney Springs
On the second story of Gateway to Discovery, DVC members and guests visiting for scheduled tours will find couches, chairs, televisions, games, complimentary snacks, and a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.
They can also venture outside to a balcony overlooking Disney Springs.
The gathering space is open during Disney Springs’ normal operating hours.
DVC tours with model rooms
Guests interested in learning more about Disney Vacation Club and potentially becoming a DVC member can visit Gateway to Discovery to attend an Open House session. This 30-minute sales presentation includes a discussion with a Disney cast member and a guided tour of a model room from Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Tours operate daily from noon to 7:30 p.m. To schedule an Open House tour at Gateway to Discovery, visit any Discovery Desk (the DVC tables located in most Disney resort hotel lobbies), stop by Gateway to Discovery in person, or call (888) 238-0001. (You can also schedule a tour of a model cabin at Fort Wilderness using these same methods.)

Following the Open House, Disney gives each guest in attendance (ages 18+) an online Disney gift card.
Alternatively, guests can visit model rooms at the real Disney’s Riviera Resort daily from 12:30-2:30 p.m., no reservation needed.
Where is the Disney Vacation Club center in Disney Springs?
Gateway to Discovery – A Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center is located within the Town Center area of Disney Springs. Specifically, it’s next door to Francesca, and across from Frontera Cocina and the Disney Springs Welcome Center.
DVC ‘Welcome Home Weeks’
DVC is celebrating “Welcome Home Weeks” now through Aug. 24, 2024. During this time, DVC members can take part in extra perks (like an additional 20% off mobile orders at select Disney World restaurants) and exclusive experiences (like character greetings and coffee meet-ups).
DVC lounges at Disney World
Elsewhere throughout Disney World, DVC members can visit the lounge inside the Imagination! Pavilion at Epcot, as well as the members-only Top of the World Lounge – A Villain’s Lair at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Another DVC lounge will is currently under construction at Magic Kingdom, and will occupy the space formerly home to Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade near Country Bear Musical Jamboree.
