Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade Closing

For a fee, guests at Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade can aim “projectile-free infrared” rifles, as Disney says, at over 100 targets. The arcade’s scenery depicts a locale called Boot Hill in Tombstone, Ariz.

Frontier Shooting Gallery, as the space was originally called, opened with Magic Kingdom on Oct. 1, 1971 before becoming Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade on Sept. 24, 1984, according to D23.
