Starting this September, the Disney Wonder is sailing back to San Diego, Calif. and Galveston, Texas for a limited time, and guests aboard these sailings can experience special holiday celebrations.
Spooky fun from San Diego, California
In September and October, the Disney Wonder will sail to the Mexican Riviera and Baja from San Diego.
The Mexican Riviera sailings will include stops at Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, and Mazatlán, while Baja sailings will visit Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, Mexico. All of these destinations will offer beach trips and water activities like scuba diving, snorkeling and kayaking.
During these excursions, all Disney ships will take on spooky transformation for Halloween on the High Seas. Guests joining in on these voyages can experience fun Halloween parties, seasonal entertainment, ghoulish décor and plenty of treats. Costumes are also welcome!
To make their cruise even more magical, guests can pair their cruise from San Diego with an Adventures by Disney Short Escape to Disneyland and Southern California. This group vacation gives guests a behind-the-scenes look at where the Disney magic is made, with tours of The Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering. Guests can also get the VIP treatment at Disneyland Resort, and get an exclusive visit to Walt Disney’s apartment in Disneyland Park.
Take a tropical holiday from Galveston, Texas
In November and December, the Disney Wonder will return to Galveston for Caribbean and Bahamian itineraries.
Bahamian sailings will make stops at Nassau, Key West, Florida and the Bahamas, with each voyage making a day trip to Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. Caribbean cruises will stop at locations like Cozumel, Mexico, Jamaica and Grand Cayman.
Most sailings will feature winter holiday-themed events as part of the Very Merrytime Cruises celebrations. These include themed parties, family activities, decorations and more. Even Castaway Cay will be decked out for the holidays during these seasonal sailings.
