At age 106, Florida resident Magnolia Jackson is still trying new things. This week she visited Walt Disney World Resort for the first time to celebrate her birthday.

Born March 14, 1917, Jackson is the oldest living graduate of Bethune-Cookman University, located in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Last fall, after seeing Mickey attend the Florida Classic college football game dressed in his drum major costume, Jackson decided to spend her next birthday by visiting Disney World for the first time.

She did so March 13, 2024, with a special birthday party at Magic Kingdom Park attended by Disney cast members, Walt Disney World Ambassadors Serena Arvizu and Shannon Smith-Conrad, and Mickey and Minnie.

Jackson also met Princess Tiana and received a private tour of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival.
