Immersive Tassie’s Underwater Twist waterslide now open at Aquatica Orlando

Tassie’s Underwater Twist – the newest attraction at Aquatica Orlando – officially opened today, March 15, 2024.

Tassie’s Underwater Twist transports guests to the digital underwater world of Australia’s Shark Bay to encounter manta rays, humpback whales, sea turtles (and even the occasional shark), all while experiencing a unique super-bowl element. Guests will experience the attraction in two-person inner tubes. One or two people may ride.

The 129-foot-long attraction also features a synchronized video display that enables riders to be completely immersed in the underwater world. Throughout the ride, the importance of seagrass meadows to the ecosystem is highlighted, encouraging visitors to learn more about the meadows and the marine life that depends on them.There are two different slides, but both show the same scenes.
