Aquatica Orlando has announced its newest attraction will take park guests on an immersive underwater adventure through Australia’s Shark Bay seagrass meadow.

Manufactured by WhiteWater West Industries, the slide measures 129 feet long and features a unique bowl element where riders on two-person tubes will be surrounded by lush seagrass meadows, schools of colorful fish, and even an occasional shark. A synchronized video projection display and musical score will further enhance the immersive experience.

In addition to being a thrilling waterslide ride, Tassie’s Underwater Twist will also provide an educational perspective, with visual components that teach visitors about the importance of seagrass meadows and the marine life that depends on them.

“This immersive attraction promises a whirlwind of wonder and adrenaline-pumping twists,” said Aquatica Orlando President Brad Gilmour. “We’ve crafted an experience that will not only delight slide enthusiasts but also create lasting memories for families and friends. With Tassie’s Underwater Twist, we invite guests to dive into an underwater world of wonder, where fun and excitement meet curiosity and education.”
