Disney World adds new holiday ticketed event, Disney Jollywood Nights

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will have some competition this holiday season, a Disney Jollywood Nights will take place after regular park hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on 10 evenings this November and December.

The separately ticketed event, which takes place 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., invites guests to experience a glamorous evening full of merry mashups, tastes and sips, and throwback characters. For an extra dose of cheer, the party wraps with the return of the nighttime projection and fireworks show, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!”

  • Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy will host an all-new musical variety stage show at Theater of the Stars featuring special appearances by guest stars Tiana, Belle, Minnie Mouse, and Mickey Mouse. We have confirmed that Kermit and Piggy will actually be there in person as you know them, not just on a screen.
  • There will be a Jazz lounge at The Hollywood Brown Derby and an other-worldly soiree at The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard. Capacity for both events is limited. The Hollywood Tower Hotel courtyard will we themed as the Tip-Top Lounge and will feature some new guests stuck in the Twilight Zone.
  • End the night with a bang – literally – when “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” returns. This nighttime spectacular, featuring the elf duo Wayne and Lanny from Disney Animation Studio’s “Prep and Landing,” features music, fireworks, special effects, and holiday projections.  
  • Throughout the evening, stylish partygoers who want to put their own singing and dancing on display can join in a Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along at the Hyperion Theater with Jack and Oogie Boogie, dance to a holiday DJ mix at the park’s main entrance, or take in a Latin Street Fair on Commissary Lane.

  • Some of the park’s attractions will be available with lower wait times during the party, including Slinky Dog Dash, Rock N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Rise of the Resistance will use virtual queue during Jollywood Nights. 

Favorite Disney Friends

  • Meet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the rest of the gang in Animation Courtyard on a hot set with holiday props.  
  • Snap a selfie with favorite throwback friends like Powerline Max and Phineas and Ferb at Echo Lake with classic holiday decor. They will have custom Christmas trees to pose with.
  • Strike a pose with Edna Mode and chill with Frozone at Pixar Plaza. Watch for Frozen to make it snow.
  • Free digital downloads and two new PhotoPass experiences are included with the price of event tickets. Be sure to ask them about holiday-themed Magic Shots. Take snapshots and videos with an event-themed Lens. There will also be a special Disney Jollywood Nights-themed video template.

 Holiday Tastes and Sips 

  • An array of specialty menu offerings will be available for purchase including Spicy Korean Chicken on a Mini Funnel Cake, as well as sweet treats like a Christmas Tree Cookie Stack inspired by the Echo Lake Christmas Tree.  
  • Classic cocktails and an assortment of specially-curated holiday beverages will also be available.

Disney Jollywood Nights is a limited-capacity holiday party. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting June 29, 2023. Tickets can be purchased by all guests starting July 6, 2023 on DisneyWorld.com. Ticket prices will range from $159-$179 per person. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights, valid for all event nights.

Ticket holders will be admitted to Disney’s Hollywood Studios as early as 7 p.m. on the date of their ticket. Party dates are Nov. 11,18, 20, 27, 29, and Dec. 4, 6,16,18, 20.

    As you mentioned there are treats and beverages available for purchase, but will there be any FREE food offerings such as cookies and hot cocoa like the MVMCP or bottled water and soda and popcorn and ice cream like other after hours events?
