Disneyland kicks off 2019 with Lunar New Year, DCA Food & Wine Festival
Start your 2019 at the Disneyland Resort with the return of two guest-favorite events: Lunar New Year and the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.

Lunar New Year
Celebrate the Year of the Pig with 24 days of Lunar New Year festivities at Disney California Adventure, from Jan. 25 – Feb. 17.
A celebration of Asian cultures, Lunar New Year welcomes guests of all ages to honor traditions with Disney characters and welcome a new year of good fortune.
Guests can enjoy multicultural performances, fun-filled activities, themed decorations, delicious food, and event merchandise. One of the highlights of the event is “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession,” a bright parade hosted by Mulan and her dragon, Mushu. This year, the parade will feature the Three Little Pigs as a special treat for the Year of the Pig.
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
The guest-favorite culinary festival is expanding to eight weeks, running from March 1 – April 23. Guests can try California-inspired food and beverages, alongside live entertainment, seminars, and cooking demonstrations. Kids can even get in on the fun with hands-on “cooking” experiences that end with a tasty surprise.
Foodies can explore more than a dozen Festival Marketplaces, which will feature small plates, specialty wines, and craft beers. Sip and Savor Passes will be available for guests looking to try a variety of dishes. In addition, limited-time, Festival-inspired menu items will be offered at restaurants throughout Disney California Adventure.
