Disneyland Paris donates 15 tons of food during coronavirus closure

In the spirit of solidarity during its temporary coronavirus (COVID-19) closure, Disneyland Paris has donated 15 tons of excess food inventory to local and national associations.

This large donation was accomplished by cast members, who banded together to identify, collect, and redistribute fresh food — including salads, fruit, dairy, and more — as quickly as they could. Organizations that received the donation include Secours Populaire Français and Restaurants du Cœur.

This follows the recent food donations made by the domestic Disney Parks, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. and Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. Both resorts donated to their local Second Harvest Food Bank.
