Celebrate 90 years of Mickey Mouse with a monstrously fun Halloween at Disneyland Paris
To celebrate 90 years of Mickey Mouse, Disneyland Paris is throwing a huge birthday bash this October.
On Oct. 1, “Mickey 90 Mouse Party” will kick off with a new Halloween season that puts the spotlight on the mouse that started it all.
This Halloween, Mickey will steal the show with a brand-new float designed just for him in the mini Halloween parade, a new attraction called “Mickey and his PhilharMagic Orchestra” will open in Discoveryland, and a few Disney Villains might appear for a good fright.
Mickey’s Halloween Cavalcade
Mickey’s Halloween Cavalcade is back with a brand-new addition: a new float called “Mickey’s Illusion Manor.” The float will celebrate 90 years of the mouse in the most mischievous ways, with apparitions and disappearances. Mickey will play tricks on guests with a bit of help from zombies and Scrooge’s prankster nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
There’s no cause for panic, though, as Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip and Dale, the Three Little Pigs, and more will parade down the street in their own floats.
“Mickey and his PhilharMagic Orchestra”
The Mickey 90 Mouse Party on Oct. 1 will mark the arrival of a new attraction, “Mickey and his PhilharMagic Orchestra.” Guests will enjoy this new 4D experience at the Discoveryland Theatre, as Mickey and Donald take the big screen by storm and travel through Disney classics like “Aladdin,” “The Little Mermaid,” and “The Lion King.”
If you miss out on seeing this new experience, don’t worry! The attraction will remain open after the Halloween season ends.
Come face-to-face with Disney Villains
Halloween is the perfect time for spooks and scares, and what better way to celebrate than by mingling with the Disney Villains? Maleficent will cast a spell to transform the courtyard of Sleeping Beauty Castle into a huge briar bush that takes the shape of her dragon. The Mistress of All Evil will also be on-hand to meet and take photos with the bravest of guests.
The villains will show guests that “It’s Good to be Bad with the Disney Villains!” with their show at the Castle Theatre. Join the Evil Queen, Cruella DeVil, the Queen of Hearts, Captain Hook, Frollo, Gaston, Jafar, Dr. Facilier, and Cinderella’s stepsisters and stepmother, Drizella, Anastasia and Lady Tremaine, for this show that can’t be missed.
Keep an eye out for Donald, he’ll be trying his best to crash the party dressed as Maleficent. After the show, the villains will be on hand for photos and meet-and-greets.
Encounter even more Halloween stars
The Disney Villains aren’t the only ones out to have some fun this Halloween, as Minnie, Stitch, Goofy, José Carioca and Panchito, and even the Cheshire Cat will be around for guests to encounter.
To celebrate the Halloween season, a colorful and crazy atmosphere will take over Disneyland Park. Pumpkins and ghosts will take over Main Street, U.S.A., along with Frontierland. Throughout the season, guests will even be able to encounter the puppet of Miguel from Disney/Pixar’s “Coco” at the Fuente del Oro restaurant.
