Disneyland Paris to reopen on June 17
Disneyland Paris has announced that the resort will finally reopen on June 17, with Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel, and Disney Village.
Upon returning to the parks, guests will be able to reconnect with characters at Selfie Spots and surprise appearances, including favorites from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. New options like Star Wars Legends — a new galactic experience — and The Cheshire Cat Express Train featuring characters from “Alice in Wonderland” will be added to both parks; guest-favorite experiences like Mickey, Minnie & the Gang, Heroic Experiences with Marvel Super Heroes, and Kingdom of Arendelle Enchanted Moments will return.
One new experience opening up is Cars Road Trip at Walt Disney Studios Park, where guests will step into the world of Disney and Pixar’s “Cars” as they take a road trip along Route 66. On the road, guests will see local natural wonders like the World’s Largest Lugnut and the Cars-tastrophe Canyon — and characters like Lightning McQueen and Mater will come along for the ride.
Health and safety measures will be in place throughout the resort upon reopening, including in queues, attractions, shops, hotels, restaurants, and other facilities, as well as be enforced in ride vehicles. Some of these measures include limited attendance and required advanced ticketed and reservations in order to promote physical distancing. Why did you wait nearly a MONTH to post this article? Is it a reprint? (Also, why is this appearing on my phone screen in such tiny, tiny letters?)
