Most of Walt Disney World has been reopened for more than five months, but its two water parks have remained shuttered since the resort-wide closure on March 15. Today, Disney has confirmed plans to reopen Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park on March 7, 2021.
In September, Disney announced that the water parks would remain closed until 2021, with one of the two water parks tentatively reopening March 7. Today’s announcement confirms that date and names Blizzard Beach as the park set to reopen first.

Disney has yet to confirm whether a Disney Park Pass reservation will be required to visit Blizzard Beach.
A reopening date for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon has yet to be announced, but stay tuned for updates as soon as more information is released.
