Disney’s Winter Summerland miniature golf reopening this November

Walt Disney World’s Winter Summerland miniature golf will reopen just in time for Florida’s “winter” season.

Florida residents and visitors to the Sunshine State can get a “snowy” fix at Walt Disney World’s Winter Summerland from Nov. 6, 2020 through Jan. 30, 2021, where two 18-hole miniature golf courses invite guests of all ages to enjoy a flurry of fun.

As legend has it, Winter Summerland was designed by Santa Claus himself as a playground for his elves, featuring mini-golf elements themed to the wintery season. Choose the Summer course for sandcastles, surfboards, and palm trees decorated with Christmas baubles, or opt for the Winter course, with its squirting snowmen and slowly melting snow castle. You’ll even spot Santa and some familiar Disney characters as you work your way around each course.

Winter Summerland is located just outside Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park. Players can book their next day (or later) tee time by calling (407) WDW-DISNEY (939-7529), and walk-ups are always welcome.

Fantasia Gardens and Fairways miniature golf at the Swan resort will have its seasonal closing on Nov. 5, and will reopen again on Jan. 31, 2021.
