Everywhere to find limited-time treats for Dole Whip Day 2023
Did you know the third Thursday in July is National Dole Whip Day? To celebrate, Disney destinations worldwide will roll out limited-time specialty Dole Whips.
Dole Whip, a pineapple ice cream treat (and its many variations) can be found at Disney theme parks, resorts, and cruise ships, among other places.
Disney announced an extensive list of limited-time menu items available on or around July 20, the official Dole Whip Day of 2023. As a bonus, Disney also assembled a massive register of everywhere you can find Dole Whip items year-round at its properties worldwide, and lucky for you, we’ve compiled these below. Happy Dole Whip Day!
Deciphering the Dole Whip Code
You may have noticed different dining locations use different language when referring to Dole Whip items. One menu might say “Dole Whip,” while another might say “Pineapple Dole Whip,” and another still “Dole Whip Pineapple.” They are, dear reader, all the same thing.
“Dole Whip” — with no other descriptors — is the default name for the pineapple flavor of the Dole-branded frozen non-dairy treat. However, there are different Dole Whip flavors beyond just pineapple. Sometimes these flavor descriptors come after of the name (i.e. “Dole Whip orange”), and other times before (i.e. “orange Dole Whip”). Both mean the same thing. Any flavor Dole Whip can sometimes be paired (or “swirled”) together with each other, or with vanilla soft-serve ice cream.
If these semantics never dawned on you, fear not. I was today years old when I learned these ins and outs myself, and lament the many times I probably ordered the wrong item simply because the menu confused me.
In any case, as Disney prepares to celebrate Dole Whip Day 2023, the menus they distributed may be confusing to anyone without a PhD in Dole. As such, when reconstructing the menus below, we’ve done our best to make the language uniform. For clarity’s sake, we added the “pineapple” descriptor any time Disney just said “Dole Whip” sans any flavor. We also capitalized the full names of flavored Dole Whips and placed the flavor adjective after the name (i.e. “Dole Whip Orange”).

Hong Kong Disney Resort’s Limited-Time Dole Whip
At Hong Kong Disneyland, guests can celebrate Dole Whip Day by visiting Jessie’s Snack Roundup in Toy Story Land. Now through Sept. 3, 2023, the location will sell a specialty float consisting of strawberry slush and Dole Whip Pineapple in a Jessie cup.
Aulani’s Limited-Time Dole Whip
Seeing as Hawaii is the birthplace of Dole, it’s fitting that Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, takes part in the Dole Whip Day celebration. July 19-21, 2023, guests can enjoy Dole Whip Pineapple with Li hing fresh pineapple and a churro at Ulu Café.
Magic Kingdom’s New Princess-Themed Dole Whips
In addition to Walt Disney World’s limited-time Dole Whip treats, Magic Kingdom has introduced a duo of new desserts that will seemingly stick around long-term. You can find them at Storybook Treats in Fantasyland.

Walt Disney World has gotten into a habit of only operating one of its two water parks at a time while the other undergoes a routine annual refurbishment. Dole Whips are known to show up at Blizzard Beach, but Typhoon Lagoon is Disney’s currently operating water park at the time of this writing. As such, Disney’s official menus only reflect Typhoon’s Dole-centric selections.
