For 2023, Dole Packaged Foods, LLC has plans to accelerate the 170-year-old company’s transformation into a purpose-led nutrition and wellness company. This transformation will be driven by a newly-formed leadership team in North America composed of four women, a mix of recently-hired and tenured executives with extensive backgrounds and expertise in brand building and product development.

“I am thrilled to work with this talented and driven group of women to bring innovative and delicious products to our consumers here in North America,” said Orzse Hodi, senior vice president and managing director. “We have made great progress towards the goals of the Dole Promise since it was introduced in 2020, but there is still much work to be done. I’m looking forward to making even more meaningful strides with this team of change makers to bring sunshine and good nutrition to all.”

This team will bring 11 new product launches to market this year that will continue the Dole Promise and launch several new products directly to consumers, including Dole Whip.

Those in the Anaheim area can get a first taste of Dole’s new lineup at Dole’s booth during Expo West through March 11, 2023. Please visit the Dole Sunshine website for more information about these new products.

More New Dole Snacks and Beverages

To introduce healthier snacking options, Dole will roll out Dole Good Crunch, which is sustainably-produced dehydrated pineapple and banana bites that “pack a crunch” and provide nutrition benefits. Dole Wiggles Fruit Juice Gels will also hit the market as Dole’s nutritious spin on the classic treat crafted with 100% fruit juice.

Building on Dole’s tradition of providing 100% Pineapple Juice, Dole will introduce Dole Light Pineapple Juice Drink, with just 40 calories per can and 60% less sugar and calories than regular 100% pineapple juice. Dole claims this new product will meet the growing demand of consumers looking for beverages with less sugar.

This year, the company will roll out Dole Pineapple Mango Juice, a sweet tropical blend of pineapple and mango juice and the soon-to-launch Dole Digestive Bliss Fruit Juice Drink, which is 50% fruit juice boosted with plant-based macro nutrients to support gut health.

Disney theme park fans have previously seen another of their signature treats, Mickey Ice Cream Bars, appear in frozen food sections. The grocery store versions of those Mickey Ice Cream Bars earned mixed reviews. Only time will tell if the grocery store version of Dole Whip makes theme park fans smile.
