The community of Kissimmee, Fla. will soon have a new, socially-distant entertainment option with pop-up Drive-In Movie Nights.

Starting Aug. 7, guests can catch screenings at 9 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, with both recent and classic releases. Tickets start at $30 per car and are available for purchase online.

The Drive-In Movie Nights are produced by Run Wild Entertainment, an event production company based in Orlando.

“Given the current landscape of our world, I wanted to create an experience that is familiar, gets people out of the house and fosters a safe environment,” said Andrew Cabrera, president and CEO of Run Wild Entertainment. “I also wanted to play movies people love and introduce the younger generation to the lost drive-in movie experience. I’m excited to bring this fun and safe entertainment to our community.”

The movies will be shown on a 30-foot screen, and content from local creators will be featured onscreen prior to the movies.

The Drive-In Movie Nights will be held at 200 West Vine Street, Kissimmee, FL 34741, on the southwest corner of West Vine Street and Main Street.
