A socially-distant floating cinema is coming to Orlando

Do you miss going to the movies? Are you dreaming of a safe, socially-distant way to see that silver screen again? Well, you’re in luck, because Floating Cinema is back with a twist and its coming to Orlando!

For one week only starting Sept. 9, Floating Cinema will offer a unique theater experience where parties sit on 12-24 mini boats that hold eight people each. Tickets will require that the whole boat be purchased to ensure that groups will be seated together and allow for social distancing between them.

The films that will be shown will be a mix between classics and new releases, and will be announced when tickets go on sale. There will be free popcorn for everyone in attendance, and other snacks and drinks will be available to purchase before the boats set sail.

Pre-registration for the Orlando Floating Cinema stop is now open, and you can sign up for ticket notifications here.
