Enjoy Disney’s Easter Parade and characters virtually
With everyone at home this Easter Sunday, we wanted to compile some coverage of past Easter celebrations at Walt Disney World Resort.

Every Easter, Disney presents a special parade at Magic Kingdom that runs before Festival of Fantasy. Characters that usually appear include Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, Thumper, Rabbit and more. The Azalea Trail Maids from Mobile, Ala. also take part every year.
Check out our video of the 2019 Disney Easter Parade below:
Our friends at Mousesteps recently put together a video compiling every Disney Easter Parade from 2010-2019, which you can view below:
Magic Kingdom isn’t the only place at Walt Disney World that celebrates Easter. Several of the resorts feature egg displays, character meets and do special egg hunts for kids on Easter Sunday. Over at Epcot, guests can take part in an egg scavenger hunt around World Showcase.
You can catch a glimpse at all of those in the Roy Meets World vlog below, as well as a character video from Mousesteps:
From 1985-1999, ABC would air the annual Walt Disney World Happy Easter Parade in the same vein as their Christmas special. For a little nostalgic fun, check out the 1996 Happy Easter Parade below courtesy of Sam’s Disney Diary:
All of us at Attractions Magazine hope you stay safe and have a Happy Easter!

Thanks so much for sharing these great Disney memories. Our Easter Sunday
always began with watching the parade. Miss it a lot.
