Epcot Food & Wine sets 2024 dates, will use CommuniCore Hall
The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will return Aug. 29 – Nov. 23, 2024, as the park’s first festival to utilize a new event space.
The annual event at Walt Disney World Resort was first hosted in 1996. The festival’s 2024 season will once again feature limited-time food marketplaces, the free Eat to the Beat concert series, and a “Ratatouille” scavenger hunt. Disney will announce menus and concert artists later.
CommuniCore Hall’s Festival Debut
New for 2024, the Food & Wine Festival will be the first special event in Epcot history to use the CommuniCore Hall flex space. The building’s interior and outdoor plaza was designed with Epcot’s seasonal festivals in mind.

As previously reported, CommuniCore Hall will open June 10, 2024, with a temporary “Encanto” show.
Disney will detail what to expect from CommuniCore Hall’s Food & Wine offerings at a later date. Notably, though, the Food & Wine Festival’s Eat to the Beat concerts will remain in their usual venue, the American Gardens Theatre, rather than utilizing CommuniCore Hall or its performance space.
Food & Wine Festival 2024 Merchandise
New merchandise for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival 2024 will include festival-branded ceramic mugs, measuring cups, and cutting boards, as well as a Remy cooking timer and a Figment Loungefly mini-backpack.
More Fall Events at Disney World
The timeframe for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival coincides with other special events throughout Disney World. These include Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park select dates in August, September, and October, as well as holiday season festivities commencing in early November.
In light of this year’s Food & Wine Festival concluding on Nov. 23, 2024 (the Saturday before Thanksgiving), Epcot’s holiday offerings — anchored around the International Festival of the Holidays — will likely begin later than other Disney parks, as usual.
At the time of this writing, Walt Disney World has not announced specific dates for 2024’s Halloween and holiday events.
