EVA Air is flying its Hello Kitty Hand-in-Hand Jet from Los Angeles to Taipei for three days.

EVA Air is adding it’s popular Hello Kitty Hand-in-Hand Jet into its Los Angeles schedule today. EVA is using the specially painted plane this Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for three of its 21 nonstop flights operating between Los Angeles and Taipei, Taiwan every week.

Hello Kitty and her Sanrio friends decorate the Boeing 777-300ER from nose to tail. Among the colorful characters are My Melody, Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel, Kuromi, Little Twin Stars, Cinnamoroll, Bad Badtz-Maru and Pompom Purin.

The jet departs from Los Angeles International Airport at 11:55 a.m. and arrives at Taoyuan International Airport at 5:05 p.m. the next day. The specially painted Boeing has three cabins: Royal Laurel Class business, Premium Economy and Economy.

The fun doesn’t stop at the plane’s decoration. Guests flying aboard the Hello Kitty and Sanrio Family jets will receive special boarding passes and baggage stickers. Onboard the plane, the cabin crew wears Hello Kitty Jet aprons, and passengers get to use themed service items, like headrest covers, tissue, pillows, soap, hand cream, paper cups, napkins, utensils and snacks.

EVA currently flies seven of these specially painted planes on routes in Asia, as well as long-haul services to Chicago and Los Angeles. Their other Hello Kitty planes include the Shining Star, Celebration Flight, Joyful Dream and Friendship Bows. Their other Sanrio Family planes are the Gudetama Comfort Flight and Bad Badtz-Maru Travel Fun.
