Disney Villains, including Evil Queen, not leaving theme parks; viral reports inaccurate, Disney says
Disney Villains characters, including the Evil Queen, are not being discontinued at Disney theme parks, a Disney spokesperson confirmed with Attractions Magazine on Oct. 24, 2025.
Reports circulated among pop-culture news outlets last week of Disney theme parks removing Villains from the year-round character lineup, reducing the bad guys’ appearances to Halloween season only. Fans were particularly upset with the supposed removal of the Evil Queen from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at Disneyland. A Disney spokesperson told us these reports are inaccurate.

Guests can continue to meet Villains, including the Evil Queen, year-round at Disneyland. At Disney’s Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World, the Evil Queen appears at a character dinner every day of the year. Many of the Villains also appear in the shows “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” and “Fantasmic!,” both performed daily, year-round, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World. Looking toward the future, Villains Land is currently under construction at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
