Fantastic Beasts products and experiences celebrate the upcoming movie, ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.’

“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” debuts in movie theaters in the U.S. on April 15, 2022, and a collection of art, apparel, home goods, and toys, plus two new exhibitions, have kicked off the festivities.

The Warner Bros. Pictures movie opened in the U.K. on April 8, and now wizards, witches, and Muggles can celebrate their love of fantastic beasts, filmmaking, and fashion with products featuring patterns and prints inspired by main character Newt’s incredible creatures.

Items geared toward all ages recall the mischievous Niffler, while others refer to the film’s global city settings.

“The Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore: Movie Magic” book published by Insight Editions will hit store shelves on April 15, 2022, giving readers a behind-the-scenes look into the Wizarding World and its filmmaking process through facts and images from the making of the movie. It also features profiles of the characters, magical locations, beasts, and on-screen artifacts.

Fashion

LeSportSac’s summer collection launches on April 18, with items featuring creatures from the Fantastic Beasts movies, including an assortment of bags with prints such as “Transfiguration Today” with its various creatures, and “Downtown MAJ,” inspired by the subway tile in New York.

Collectible pieces by LeSportSac include a suitcase crossbody similar to Newt Scamander’s suitcase, and a crossbody featuring a 3-D effect puffy owl face.

Hot Topic FB3 collection celebrates the film’s release with a new collection inspired by the magic and mischief of Fantastic Beasts. Available now in select stores nationwide.

EB Games/Zing Pop Culture has a men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, stationary, and home products collection that launched in Australia on April 5. Watch for the Niffler T-shirt and matching backpack or the Niffler hooded blanket.

Toys

Build-A-Bear introduces a new collection of Fantastic Beasts, including Nifflers in all colors and sizes, a plush Bowtruckle, and more.

Running Press offers a collectible Niffler figure that makes “adorable sounds.” It is mounted on a base and plays the creature’s mischievous sound with the push of a button.

Funko will release a range of Pop! vinyl figures based on favorite characters later this year.

Art

MinaLima design studio debuted a new graphic art print series in Soho, London, which celebrates the newest Fantastic Beasts film. The curated collection is on display at MinaLima in London, and at House of MinaLima locations in New York, Osaka, and Paju.

Themed Entertainment

Harry Potter: The Exhibition – Get a behind-the-scenes look at the iconic moments, characters, settings, and beasts from “Harry Potter,” “Fantastic Beasts,” and the expanded Wizarding World through crafted environments that honor fan-favorite moments.

The exhibit, currently located at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Penn. allows visitors to get an up-close view of original costumes and authentic props set up in magical environments. Guests can even interact with Newt’s suitcase and experience a physical recreation of a Bowtruckle tree.

Fantastic Beasts: The Wonder of Nature – Coming to the Royal Ontario Museum in summer 2022 is this exhibition that explores the links between the Wizarding World’s magical creatures and real animals in the natural world, with the goal of creating a greater connection to the planet and empowering visitors to be advocates for its care.

Through a combination of science, nature, and imagination, visitors will learn how the world’s animals inspired stories and folklore around the world.
