Fiesta celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month at Aquatica Orlando

Aquatica water park in Orlando brings back its Hispanic cultural celebration, Fiesta Aquatica, on select dates from September 10-25, 2022, with Tequila tastings on the beach, Latin foods, and a hotter-than-Salsa pool party.

It’s party time each Saturday and Sunday as the Latin vibe takes over Aquatica Orlando, pumping up the music throughout the park, along the lazy river, and on some of the water slides.

The festivities continue as a DJ spins tunes on the wave pool deck during a sizzlin’ hot dance party that keeps summertime going, in and out of the water.

Adults (ages 21 and up) can take part in Tanteo Tequila tastings at Aquatica Orlando’s new Trader Turi’s Tiki Bar, located right on the beach. The tastings are offered at an additional fee (park admission required), and will be accompanied by a guitar player strumming out tunes that melt guests’ stresses away. Frozen Mango Margaritas will also be on offer here.

Waterstone Grill, Mango Market, Papa’s Cantina, Kuri’s Beachside Panini, and Walkabout Pizza will serve up Latin-inspired foods, including selections such as Arroz con Pernil, Plantains, Tres Leches cake, Tripleta sandwiches, empanadas, a Cuban panini, and Pico de Gallo pizza.

With the heat of a Florida summer comes the typical rains of a summertime afternoon, and inclement weather may mean a pause in operations at the water park until weather conditions improve. That means guests may be asked to evacuate rides, pools, and dining areas to seek shelter. When a suspension of operations happens, Sunny Day Tickets will be issued at Guest Relations for those who would like them, in exchange for guests’ single or multi-day tickets. At that time, guests will exit the park and may not re-enter same-day. Sunny Day Tickets can be used during a return visit within one year of the date of issue.

Aquatica 2023 Fun Cards allow unlimited visits to the park (parking and special events not included), and are on sale now. Those who purchase a 2023 Fun Card can enjoy Aquatica Orlando for the remainder of 2022 through December 31, 2023.
