Aquatica Orlando will soon have another thrilling way to see the water park’s resident Commerson’s dolphins, leopard sharks, sardines, and other fish, when the Reef Plunge body slide opens in March, 2022.
Aquatica’s Dolphin Plunge body slide is currently the most popular slide in the park, and next spring it will have a sister slide in an all-new, dynamic habitat.
Reef Plunge riders will twist and turn down more than 300 feet of fiberglass, sliding through translucent cutouts and rings as they pass playful dolphins, languid leopard sharks, and cold-water fish on the way to splash-down.
Park President Kyle Miller said, “2022 is going to be an exciting year for Aquatica Orlando. Aquatica was voted the number one waterpark in the USA because guests love our year-round operations, one-of-a-kind attractions, and laid-back beach vibe. We are thrilled to announce that the country’s best water park is adding new enhancements for an even greater guest experience, and we can’t wait to unveil Reef Plunge next spring.”
Guests must be at least 42” to ride.
Other enhancements are coming to the park, too, including the addition of more than 1,000 new loungers and beach chairs, increasing the amount of shade guests can enjoy during their water park day.
A new pizza place and a beach bar will also debut at the park, adding even more variety of dining choice, and the well-established Banana Beach Cookout buffet-style restaurant will receive some upgrades.
Several of Aquatica’s attractions and water slides will also get enhancements and upgrades, and guests can also enjoy Riptide Race dueling race slide, which opened in April, 2021.
To make the most of these new additions and upgrades, guests can take advantage of a limited-time offer to purchase an Aquatica Orlando 2022 Fun Card and get the remainder of 2021 for free. The Fun Card allows unlimited admission to the park from the date of purchase through December 31, 2022.
Add a SeaWorld Orlando 2022 Fun Card and you can splash and play your way though the end of 2022, including unlimited rides on the all-new Ice Breaker steel roller coaster, opening in February, 2022.
