‘Harry Potter’ movies back in theaters in 2025

Accio movie marathon! The first four of the Warner Bros. “Harry Potter” movies are returning to theaters. Three weeks in a row, Fathom Events will host screenings of the movies sequentially from Thursdays through Sundays beginning Feb. 13, 2025.

Depending on location, the movies will be presented as standard screenings, 4DX, or 3D — marking the first time ever “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” has been presented in a 3D format. During 4DX movie screenings, audience members wear 3D glasses, the seats move along with the action of the film, and the auditorium emits multi-sensory effects like fog and rain. (You may get wet!)

The re-releases of “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” are billed as 20th anniversary screenings, the movie having first released in 2005.
