First look at Avengers Campus Quinjet at Disney California Adventure

Construction work was halted for many weeks at Disney California Adventure due to the ongoing pandemic. This resulted in a delay for the grand opening of the Marvel Adventures Campus at Disney California Adventure. But, work has resumed. And today, we get our first look at the installation of the Quinjet in the land.

The Quinjet will be placed near the upcoming E-Ticket Marvel Avengers attraction. While this ride will not open with the rest of the land, it will still showcase this signature Marvel vehicle.

Back in May, we looked at the construction progress going on in the land. We could clearly see where each building was, and we were waiting for larger props, such as this, to be installed.

Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, got out to the site for a close-up look. He stated that he was given a tour around the Avengers Campus with Ken Potrock, Disneyland Resort President, and Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios.

The Marvel Avengers Campus will be one of the largest additions to Disney California Adventure in the park’s history. During the 2019 D23 Expo, details were revealed on the attractions, food and beverage options, characters and merchandise locations.

The Disneyland Resort theme parks are currently still closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, but Downtown Disney has reopened for guests. And, things are looking good for guests when they can eventually return back to the two California-based theme parks.
