FlyOver Las Vegas, a new flight simulator attraction, is scheduled to land in Sin City in 2021.
Pursuit, a business unit of Viad Corp, has announced today that it will expand its FlyOver flight ride concept to a yet-unannounced location the famous Las Vegas Boulevard in early 2021. FlyOver Las Vegas will be the third FlyOver attraction, following the highly original FlyOver Canada in Vancouver, and FlyOver Iceland, which launches in Reykjavik in summer 2019.
“The launch of FlyOver Las Vegas will provide visitors with a truly unforgettable experience showcasing some of the most iconic and visually stunning landscapes in the American Southwest,” said Lisa Adams, VP of FlyOver Attractions. “We look forward to bringing a brand new flight ride to such a widely visited destination as we continue to expand and enhance our current portfolio of unforgettable world-class experiences.”
FlyOver Las Vegas will highlight iconic destinations in and around Nevada with an exhilarating flight experience over the American Southwest’s most iconic locations, picturesque scenery and natural wonders. Filming locations are expected to include the expansive Grand Canyon in Arizona, Zion and Arches National Parks in Utah, and Lake Tahoe in California. The FlyOver Las Vegas flight ride utilizes a moving platform with six degrees of motion, multi-sensory special effects and a 52-foot spherical screen, along with special effects like wind, mist and scents.
“The story of our growth is grounded in our commitment to refresh, improve and expand our global collection of iconic, unforgettable and inspiring adventure travel experiences,” said David Barry, President, Pursuit. “Building a new FlyOver attraction in a globally recognized tourism destination like Las Vegas marks another milestone in Pursuit’s strategic growth. The new attraction will enable us to connect visitors with a distinctive experience that showcases both the vibrancy of Las Vegas along with the stunning natural wonders of the Southwestern United States.”
