‘Frozen 2’ to be added to Disney+ three months early due to coronavirus

The Walt Disney Company has announced that “Frozen 2” will be available three months early on Disney+ in the U.S., as a surprise to families during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

UPDATE – 03/14/20, 6:40 p.m. EST: In a surprise move, “Frozen 2” has been added to Disney+ in the U.S. a day ahead of the original announcement! You’ll have to search “Frozen 2” in order to find it, as it isn’t currently on the home page at the time of writing.

The movie will be available to stream starting Sunday, March 15 in the U.S. in high definition, with Ultra HD playback available to all subscribers on Tuesday, March 17. Internationally, “Frozen 2” will be available on Disney+ in Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand on March 17.
