Fun Spot Kissimmee’s Mine Blower to receive RMC re-tracking

Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) is continuing its partnership with Fun Spot America theme parks, with a Mine Blower RMC re-tracking at Fun Spot America Kissimmee being completed just in time for the busy summer season.

Due to the relationship between Fun Spot America and Rocky Mountain Construction, Mine Blower, the only wooden roller coaster in Florida with a Zero G Barrel Roll, is going through some changes.

“Working with RMC on our ArieForce One roller coaster at Fun Spot Atlanta in Fayetteville, Georgia, has been nothing short of incredible,” said John Arie Jr., president and CEO of Fun Spot America. “Now, to work with RMC and their 208 ReTrack Solution on Mine Blower is a game changer for our park.”

The RMC Mine Blower re-tracking will be focused on the most dynamically loaded sections of the coaster’s track to enhance the ride. The goal is to complete the project before the busy summer season and Fun Spot’s 25th Anniversary celebration.

“We are very pleased for the opportunity to work with Fun Spot again and help bring thrills and smiles to their guests’ faces,” said Darren Torr, President and Owner, Rocky Mountain Construction.

No specific re-opening date was given yet, but progress on the re-track has been continual, with the old track on its way out. Hopefully, this will allow for a smoother ride where the intensity comes from the speed with fewer bumps and shakes.
