Freeform to air two-hour Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge special

As part of the channel’s 30 Days of Disney programming event this September, Freeform is set to air a two-hour television special called “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Adventure Awaits.”

Airing Sunday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT, the special will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris as he takes us on a journey through the new lands at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and explores how Batuu came to life. Celebrity guests on the special will include Kaley Cuoco, Keegan-Michael Key, Jay Leno, Sarah Hyland, Miles Brown and more. 

Fans will not only learn from Walt Disney Imagineers and cast members about what it took to make Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge a reality, but also get a sneak peek of the upcoming attraction Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which opens Dec. 5 at Walt Disney World and Jan. 17, 2020 at Disneyland.
