Developed around the Pro Football Hall Fame Museum, the Hall of Fame Village features immersive dining, shopping, and entertainment experiences. Thousands of fans voted to name the newest experience, and Gameday Bay was the top choice for “the place to be not only on game day but all year round.” Legacy Lagoon, Champions Cove, and Legends Lagoon were also in the running.

“We are thrilled to reveal the name Gameday Bay, a choice that reflects the excitement and energy we aim to bring to this exceptional waterpark experience,” said Michael Crawford, President & CEO of Hall of Fame Resort and Entertainment Co. (a former Disney executive). “The public’s engagement in the naming process has been remarkable, and Gameday Bay perfectly captures the essence of what this attraction represents – a celebration of sports, competition, and family entertainment.”

The 144,000 sq. ft. football-themed waterpark will include sports-themed “zones” and large jumbotrons so football fans can watch their favorite teams. The indoor design ensures visitors can enjoy the park year-round, with attractions ranging from a thrilling waterslide tower to a relaxing lazy river, a wave pool, and a family-friendly fun zone for younger fans. Gameday Bay will also feature an adult swim-up bar with plenty of TVs.

Gameday Bay is scheduled to open at the end of 2024. Season passes will be available for purchase in mid-2024.
