Goblins & Giggles Weekends set for Gaylord Palms Halloween 2023 season

Guests can experience trick-or-treating, nature presentations, crafts, and more during the Gaylord Palms Halloween 2023 season. The event is open to overnight guests and daytime visitors, although some events are exclusive for those with hotel reservations. Browse the full line-up below.

Jack-O’-Lanterns at Gaylord Palms

On the complimentary the Jack-O’-Lantern Walk, guests can stroll through an exhibition of creatively carved pumpkins themed to the state of Florida (available daily, Sept. 9 – Oct. 29, 2023).

Halloween Happenings at Gaylord Palms

Guests can attend the “Monster Mash Bash Dance Party & Costume Contest” in their Halloween costumes on Saturdays, Sept. 9 – Oct. 28, 2023. During the party, they can celebrate spooky season with Morgana the Witch, Vlad the Vampire, and Grimm the Good-Hearted Goblin. ($16.99 per person).

Hotel guests can also dress in costume and trick or treat in the atrium during the Trick or Treat Expedition on Saturdays, Sept. 9 – Oct. 28, 2023 (exclusive for overnight guests).

Hands-On Activities during Goblins & Giggles Weekends

As part of the festivities, Adventure Kids’ Clubhouse will host Halloween crafts on Fridays and Saturdays Sept. 9 – Oct. 28, 2023. ($14.99 per craft.)

From Sept. 9 through Oct. 29, 2023, participants on the daily Adventure Kids Spooktakular Scavenger Hunt can search for pumpkins and learn about nature across the 4.5 acres of the Gaylord Palms garden atrium. ($12.99 per scavenger hunt booklet).

Adventure-seekers can help Emerald discover Captain Horswaggle’s treasure in Pirate’s Treasure Escape Room on Fridays and Saturdays, Sept. 9 – Oct. 28, 2023. While the escape room experience has been offered at other times of the year, Gaylord Palms describes the version taking place during Goblins & Giggles Weekends as “a haunted escape.” ($120 for parties of four).

Goblins & Giggles Weekends’ Shows and Presentations

“Adventure Kids Spooky Celebration” is a complimentary live show on Saturdays, Sept. 9 – Oct. 28, 2023, starring Adventure Kid Sophie, Seth the Sea Turtle, Ava the Alligator, and their real-life animal counterparts.

During the “dive-in movie” on Fridays and Saturdays, Sept. 9 – Oct. 28, 2023, guests can enjoy a dip in the onsite Cypress Springs water park while watching “Spookley the Square Pumpkin,” a 2004 animated movie from Kidtoon Films, Lionsgate, and HIT Entertainment (exclusive for overnight guests). Spookley himself will greet guests on Saturdays, too.

“Phantom of the Atrium” is a complimentary spectacle presented nightly at 9 p.m., Sept. 9 – Oct. 29, 2023, featuring the dancing lights of the atrium’s LED curtains.

Guests can see and learn about snakes, alligators, and other Florida wildlife during complimentary (and spooky) animal encounters on Saturdays, Sept. 9 – Oct. 28, 2023.
