‘Godzilla The Ride’ opening globally from director of ‘Godzilla Minus One’
“Godzilla The Ride,” a new flying theater attraction announced from companies Brogent and Toho, and directed by Oscar-winner Takashi Yamazaki, is opening soon.

Brogent Technologies recently announced a collaboration with the prominent Japanese entertainment company Toho Co., Ltd. to create the brand-new ”Godzilla The Ride,” a flying theater film experience.
According to Brogent Technologies, this new attraction is set to premiere globally across Brogent’s i-Ride flying theater venues, including leading theme parks and entertainment centers, this summer.
Attractions Magazine reached out for comment about the locations for ”Godzilla The Ride.” Brogent Technologies replied: “As for the locations and additional details, those will be announced in the future, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as updates become available.”
Oscar-winning director returns
”Godzilla The Ride” will be written, directed, and produced by Takashi Yamazaki, the director and Academy Award-winning visual effects supervisor of 2023’s “Gozilla Minus One.” Known for his visual storytelling and technical expertise, Yamazaki brings significant experience to this project.
Building on the global success of the first Godzilla ride attraction project — “Godzilla the Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate Battle,” currently showing at Seibuen Amusement Park in Japan — the new ride film from Brogent promises detailed visual effects and an exceptionally high image quality.
“I am thrilled to return to Godzilla’s world from the passenger seat,” said Yamazaki. “What powerful adversaries will emerge? Where will this ride take us next? As a ride enthusiast, I eagerly anticipate my first experience and am working closely with our team to create the most exhilarating and immersive Godzilla adventure.”
With the global rise of Japanese anime and the growing demand for immersive and IP-driven attractions, this new collaboration promises to deliver a high-quality experience. However, Godzilla fans will have to wait for more details about this new attraction.
Lotte World Adventure

Additionally, Lotte World Adventure in Seoul, South Korea, recently announced a Godzilla ride for their park opening in December 2025. This will be a new dark ride experience. “Kong x Godzilla: The Ride will offer an immersive experience into the world of global movie IP. Lotte World Adventure has always opened new horizons in theme parks through various challenges, and we will continue to strive to provide new experiences for our visitors,” stated Lotte World CEO Oh-Sang Kwon in an official press release.
