It’s good to be bad during runDisney virtual Wine & Dine half marathon weekend
Halloween may be over, but the Disney Villains are sticking around to celebrate the runDisney virtual 2020 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend on Nov. 6-8, 2020.
This year, the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend has taken on a virtual twist so runners can show off their villainous side as they complete a 5K, 10K, or half-marathon run (or walk) in their neighborhood, home gym, or anywhere they choose.
From wicked race-day style to a villainous playlist, Disney is making sure runners will have a good time being bad.
Tips to make the runDisney race weekend extra wicked:
Iconic evildoers will help motivate runners with a curated collection of hits from the Disney Villains available on Disney’s official Spotify and Apple Music playlists.
Registered runners can follow an evil path by downloading a virtual race kit from the runDisney website featuring mile markers and a “Start Line” and “Finish Line.”
Of course, no Disney Villain would be caught dead in an outfit without a bit of sinister style. Click here to check out Disney Parks Blog’s Disney Villain-inspired tutorials to create wickedly cool accessories like poison apple shoe charms or an Ursula-inspired running skirt.
Once runners have conquered the course, they can share their #WineDineVirtual accomplishment on social media with specially-designed graphics for each race event (add themed Giphy stickers for an extra spooky touch).
