Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites, Universal Orlando’s newest hotel, has announced a new grand opening date.
The hotel will open to guests for the first time on Dec. 15, 2020 with a starting rate of $79 per night; the hotel was originally scheduled to open on March 17, but was delayed due to COVID-19. In addition, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel will reopen on Dec. 1 with newly-renovated rooms and suites.
Dockside Inn and Suites will be the second hotel in the resort’s Value category, joining its sister property, Surfside Inn and Suites. The resort will add 2,050 guest rooms, including both standard rooms and 2-Bedroom Suites.
Highlights of Dockside Inn and Suites include:
- 2-Bedroom Suites – These suites, which make up over half of the rooms at both Dockside Inn and Suites & Surfside Inn and Suites, can sleep up to six and include two separate rooms, a kitchenette area, a picnic table for meals, and a bathroom with separate bath and vanity areas. These suites start as low as $120 per night for a four-night stay.
- Exclusive Theme Park Benefits – Hotel guests receive special benefits including Early Park Admission, complimentary shuttle bus transportation, charging privileges with the room key, and more.
- Pier 8 Market – Here you’ll find casual dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu will feature affordable options with most dishes under $12, ranging from themed comfort foods to on-the-go options.
- Amenities – The lobby bar, Sunset Lounge, offers specialty cocktails for those who need to unwind after a day at the parks. The hotel will also feature two pools and two pool bars, a Universal Orlando Vacation Planning Center, Universal Studios Store, and more.
