Guide to Disney Lorcana at Epcot Festival of the Arts 2026
Lorcana arrives at Epcot as the theme park’s 2026 Festival of the Arts welcomes the popular Disney trading card game with activations.

Disney Lorcana features breathtaking art of your favorite Disney characters, so it’s no wonder why it was chosen as one of the main attractions of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts 2026 lineup. The festival, which takes place at Epcot in Walt Disney World from Jan. 16 – Feb 23, 2026, showcases all sorts of art in different mediums such as music, food, visual art, and more.

Overview of Lorcana at Epcot Festival of the Arts
Players, or “Illumineers” as they’re referred to in the Locana game’s storyline, can start their journey on the bridge to World Showcase. You’ll receive a complimentary Festival Questbook, and inside you’ll find instructions on how to participate in both the Collection Quest and the Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt. Here’s the rundown on both activities (keep reading for full coverage of each).
Collection Quest: Inside of the Illumineer’s Lounge (found within the Morocco Pavilion), you’ll open Disney Lorcana booster packs and trade cards with other guests. After collecting four cards, you’ll receive a limited-edition Magical Places promo card.
Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt: Scattered cross the park, you’ll find life-size Disney Lorcana cards. Once you discover one, match the ink type (colored background behind the character’s name) sticker to the location on the map. Upon completion you’ll receive another limited-edition Magical Places promo card.
Now what are these “Magical Places” promo cards, you might ask? In this case, the free Lorcana cards that will be handed out for participation at the Epcot Festival of the Arts include characters like Stitch, Rapunzel, and Donald Duck. It’s worth nothing these are reprints of cards from past Lorcana sets, but feature different backgrounds, as well as an icon at the bottom of the card that indicate that it’s a promo card that comes from the Disney parks.

Collection Quest
Toward the beginning of your day, you’ll want to pick up a Festival Questbook on the bridge between World Celebration and World Showcase, to the left where the cell phone distribution used to be for the Kim Possible / Phineas and Ferb scavenger hunts. Here you’ll receive your gateway to the Lorcana activities and a 12-card Lorcana booster pack from the set “Archazia’s Island.” The sticker sheet is for the Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt, which we’ll cover further down.
If this is on your agenda for the day, show up EARLY! Complimentary Lorcana booster packs ran out on the festival’s opening day by 1 p.m.

In each booklet, there’s a different set of four cards that you need to find in order to receive the Donald Duck – Pie Slinger, Magical Places promo card. This encourages guests to open their booster packs and trade with other guests, primarily in the Illumineer’s Lounge.

Once you show a cast member inside of the Illumineer’s Lounge your four cards match the ones inside of your booklet, you’re able to keep them along with your new Donald Duck card!

Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt
Scattered across the park are oversized Lorcana cards, some of which you might be lucky enough to get when opening your complimentary booster pack. With the booklet, you’ll also receive a sticker sheet. When you find an oversized card in the park, match the color of the “ink type” (color of the background where you’ll find the character’s name) to the spot where you found it on the map inside of the booklet. We’ll show you just two of the cards, so not to spoil their locations!

After you find where each card is located, you can redeem your completed map for a Rapunzel – Appreciative Artist, Magical Places promo card!

Illumineer’s Lounge
Inside the former Restaurant Marrakesh in the back of the Morocco Pavilion is the Illumineer’s Lounge. This is the central location for all things Lorcana at the Epcot Festival of the Arts. You can trade Lorcana cards with a cast member or other Lorcana players, play Lorcana with friends at a table inside the space, and receive your promo cards from completing the actives inside the Festival Questbook.

One of my FAVORITE parts of the day was the cast member trading board. Guests trade a card of the same rarity as the card they desire on the board. This is mainly helpful for finishing the Collection Quest, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t keeping an eye on that board the entire time my friends and I played Lorcana in the corner. I got some really amazing cards from this board, but I hope they add another, as there’s only one.

This activation has already proven to be a hit! The lounge was packed on opening day with hardcore Lorcana fans and wide-eyed newcomers enamored with the thrill of trading. I observed players who had hundreds of cards with them trading with guests of all ages just so they could finish their Collection Quest. This community is the best when it comes together over their shared love for Disney, and Lorcana is just another medium to do so.
