Hall of Presidents to reopen with President Biden in August

by Brittani Tuttle

Over the past few months, work has been underway to add President Joe Biden to The Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom as the 46th President of the United States — and now we have a reopening window!

Disney Imagineers are hard at work putting the final touches on the show ahead of its return in August. Creative teams have spent the attraction’s downtime programming an Audio-Animatronic replica of the President, pairing it with a delivery of the presidential oath of office — recorded at the White House by President Biden himself for the attraction.

Every detail onstage comes together to create a glimpse into the office of the President through the years, from the clothing each figure wears to the props, documents and furniture onstage. When The Hall of Presidents reopens, you might spot a few special items on the table next to President Biden, which features a few special items that hold significance to him — including peach blossoms to represent his home state of Delaware and a pair of aviators as a nod to his love of the sunglasses.

As for the Audio-Animatronic figure of former President Donald J. Trump, it will be moved to the section of the stage featuring presidents who have previously served.

What do you think of the new Joe Biden animatronic? Will you be heading to see the return of The Hall of Presidents when it reopens at Walt Disney World? Share your thoughts with us down in the comments.

No, I won’t be heading in to see a fake president that wasn’t elected legitimately.

On a side note, what happens when it’s discovered he wasn’t elected legitimately? Will he be there as a stain to the other Presidents?

Sure will be, so glad he was elected. Looks like some people hear are on the Jungle Cruise in a state of deNile. So tired of those who talk conspiracy theories with no evidence. I believe in the courts of the United States and their 60 decisions that their was no major fraud. It is a shame that people can post fake information here.

Louie, if there was no fraud why is it so hard for your side to prove there was none? If you have been trained it statistics as I have l, it is crystal clear something unnatural happened that appears to be fraud and warrants a REAL investigation.

I don’t mind if Trump lost, FAIRLY.
