Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort includes the following:

Seasonal Attraction Overlays – A fan-favorite during Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort is the annual transformation (courtesy of Jack Skellington) of the Haunted Mansion into Haunted Mansion Holiday with frightfully festive decor inspired by “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” – including the mansion’s annual gingerbread house.

In Disney’s California Adventure Park, Radiator Springs will become Radiator Screams, where Lightning McQueen, Mater, Cruz, and Red don their “car-stumes” and Halloween makeovers turn Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree into Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters becomes Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween. And when night falls in Avengers Campus, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! transforms into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.

Plaza de la Familia and Día de los Muertos – From Sept. 2 – Nov. 2, 2022, the limited-time Plaza de la Familia in Paradise Gardens at California Adventure will celebrate the traditions of Día De Los Muertos, featuring food, décor, and entertainment inspired by Disney and Pixar’s “Coco,” including the lively street performance, “A Musical Celebration of Coco.”

The seasonal nighttime spectacular can be viewed throughout the park, including Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, and in front of “it’s a small world.”

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit – This year, the spookiest time of year will extend to the Downtown Disney District, with a pumpkin hunt available Sept. 9 – Oct. 31, 2022. Guests can pick up a game board and stickers at select merchandise locations ($9.99 plus tax) and then search for hidden pumpkins themed around Disney characters (placing corresponding stickers on the game board as they find them). Whether guests hunt for pumpkins or not, the game board can be returned to a redemption location for a prize.
